Trimix

Trimix Diver Course

What is it:

The PADI Tec Trimix Diver course is intended to extend the depth range of technical divers already trained and qualified to use air, enriched air and oxygen for technical decompression dives beyond 50m/165ft.

What will we do:

  • Plan and execute between three to eight dives (depending upon whether you enter the course as a Tec 50 diver or Tec Trimix 65 diver) using EANX and trimix blends
  • Use decompression software to create custom dive tables and dive plans
  • Make training dives as deep as 90m/300ft

How long will it take:

5-8 days

Prerequisites:

PADI Rescue Diver or higher
Minimum 150 dives
Minimum age 18 years old
Certified Tec Deep Diver or qualifying certification from another organization (must read and complete Tec Deep Knowledge Reviews

Fees Include:

  • Materials
  • Certification

Students are responsible for:

  • Tec Gear (See Tec 50 & ask instructor about additional equipment needed for the environment)
  • All tanks and gas needed for training, to include instructor’s gases
  • Any cost associated with the dives, to include any cost for the instructor
